"I telephoned Manor Scaffold after finding their website as I needed a scaffold erecting up to the back of my Cottage. The guys turned up on Saturday morning to look at what was required, they told me the best way to do it and gave me a price there and then. As I was unsure when I needed it I asked what notice they needed to do the work, which to my surprise was just a couple of days. I phoned on the Wednesday for them to erect it on the Friday, I came home from work, and the scaffold was complete - ladder up and tied off all ready for me to start work. I had a courtesy call on the Monday to see if all was well and the scaffold met with requirements, which it did, and after 2 weeks received another call to see if everything was still ok. I asked for the scaffold to be removed which it was within 2 days.

As a Construction Manager it is refreshing to find a Contractor that understand that the customer requires a service and that they are willing to put themselves out to give the customer what he wants. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

"Yesterday, examined the extenal fabric of the full facade of The Savoy. At the time, I was with maintenance contractors who are now using your scaffolding for the usual periodic maintenance of this large and wonderful old Grade II Listed building.

You’ll not be aware that for five years I was responsible for a maintenance force of almost 400. These people represented most engineering and civil engineering disciplines across 13 factories run by a large manufacturing company in the UK. Not a little of this work, of course, related to various buildings, large and small, old and new.

Never did I come across a scaffold project as impressive as the one I ranged over yesterday. I was there for an hour or so to see what was being contemplated: where, how and when. The contractors have nothing but praise for your work and the standards you obviously set for your company. They share with me in offering congratulations and the unsolicited view that this is the best scaffolding any of them have ever worked on.

The structure is an object lesson for work of its type. The whole is carefully devised and structured, safe and impressively secure. It is clean and spacious and offers splendidly arranged lifts to give access to the several distinctively different areas where work is imminent and for different trade purposes. The final furnishings for the safety and the convenience of both the craftsmen and passing public are exemplary. Nor do I forget that the nine days of its construction have involved great courtesy and the minimum inconvenience to the residents here."
